Austentatious Tickets

Arts Theatre

The Jane Austen-inspired improv troupe pulls a fantastic new show out from under their bonnets every night, based on your suggestions.

Improv Fun With Austentatious Tickets

It is a truth universally acknowledged that an improv troupe with a taste for Jane Austen must be in want of an audience… Austentatious at the Arts Theatre is one of the best nights out in the West End, thanks to a talented team who create a brand new story every night. Hold onto your bonnets and get ready for wit, romance, laughs and more!

Austentatious Improv - A New Story Every Night!

How many novels did Jane Austen write? Get ready to discover a few new stories as the team behind Austentatious on stage take your title suggestions and turn them into fantastic period romps. From Mansfield Shark to The Longbourne Identity via The Empire Line Strikes Back, this sharp, smart and sometimes chaotic show is a good-natured tribute to the beloved Pride and Prejudice author. Expect full period dress, fulsome laughter, and a few surprises that will have you blushing more than Mr Darcy’s fan club!

About Austentatious

Austentatious has a long and respectable history, starting back in 2011. It entered society - or to you and I, the theatre scene - in London before travelling up to Edinburgh, where it received rave reviews and played to sold-out crowds. Since 2017 it has held Monday night residencies at various West End theatres, and it is the talk of all the most influential newspapers: The Times called it a “potboiler of a parody, joyously performed” in their five-star review.

Cast of Austentatious

Austentatious is currently performed by a cast of six, including original members and creators Amy Cooke-Hodgson, Joseph Morpurgo and Rachel Parris (Late Night Mash). Other members of the company include award-winning comedian, actress and Griefcast podcast host Cariad Lloyd; Charlotte Gittins; Lauren Shearing; Daniel Nils Roberts; and Graham Dickson.

The group pull on their petticoats, dust off their cravats and practice their best stiff upper lip before every performance to bring you the very best madcap improv you could ask for.
