SeatPlan is a London based theatre ticketing company with a small team and startup atmosphere. We combine theatre seat prices with audience reviews and photos to give our customers the best possible information to choose and book the best tickets. Our unique website helps over 200k users per month.

The Role

We are looking for a front end developer to join us who can help us execute our vision to help theatregoers choose and book the best tickets. You will create pixel perfect pages and interactive tools that give our users the best possible experience. You should have experience in modern Javascript and a Javascript framework like Vue (ideal) or React or Angular.

You will report to the Head of Development and work closely with the Product Manager and other developers. UX prototyping and design skills are desirable but not essential. An eagerness to learn and improve are key success factors for the SeatPlan team.

Our Platform

Our platform is built on the Symfony framework and runs on AWS. We use Vue.js javascript framework and Twig templating.

Essential Skills

• 2 or more years of commercial experience as a Front End Developer
• Strong HTML5, CSS3, SASS
• Minimum of 6 months Javascript framework (we use Vue.js but experience in Angular or React is useful)
• Responsive web design
• Git or other Source Control systems
• Ability to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

Desirable Skills

• HTML templating ideally via Twig/Symfony
• NUXT
• UX prototyping
• Experience with JavaScript testing tools
• Knowledge of SEO techniques

Salary and Terms

• Full-time permanent role
• £45-60k depending on experience.
