    Former doctor Adam Kay returns to the West End to share stories about life on the NHS frontline in comedy show This Is Going To Hurt. Inspired by Kay’s own diaries, the show will open at the Palace Theatre London.

    Based on the best-selling book of the same name, This Is Going To Hurt is an award-winning stand-up, music and confessional show from Adam Kay, who previously trained as a junior doctor. Audiences can expect a night packed full of candid, forthright and funny anecdotes which are sometimes shocking but always full of warmth and admiration for healthcare workers.

    Adam Kay is a comedian and writer who has worked on TV programmes including Mrs Brown's Boys and Mitchell & Webb. Kay's second book, Twas the Nightshift before Christmas, has also been adapted into a live show at the Palace Theatre.
