Alexandra Palace, Alexandra Palace Way, London, N22 7AY

The Alexandra Palace Theatre is located in the East Court at Alexandra Palace. The Palace’s location is between Wood Green and Muswell Hill in North London. With its own train station and several buses and tube lines nearby, it is incredibly well-connected both for the local area and the rest of the city.

Wood Green and Muswell Hill are largely residential areas, but the Alexandra Palace site is a bustling space that can keep visitors occupied all day. Things to see and do include exploring Alexandra Park, which has Go Ape, a skate park, children’s play park, gardens and boating lake to name a few.

Getting to Alexandra Palace Theatre by rail is easy because it has its own station at the Wood Green entrance. There is a regular service from Moorgate via Old Street, Highbury & Islington and Finsbury Park, taking around 30 minutes. Alternatively, from King’s Cross station catch a Victoria Line Underground service to Highbury & Islington, then transfer to a Great Northern service to Alexandra Palace Station.

The nearest tube station to Alexandra Palace is Wood Green, on the Piccadilly line. When you exit the underground station, head to bus stop A on The Broadway and catch the W3 towards Finsbury Park. Get off at Alexandra Palace Ice Rink, which is just a couple of minutes from Alexandra Palace Theatre.

The W3 bus towards Finsbury Park stops at Alexandra Palace Ice Rink, which is around 3 minutes’ walk from the theatre. If you are getting a bus to Alexandra Palace other routes include the 183 towards Chesterfield Road, which stops at Alexandra Palace Station. It is then a 12-minute walk via the South Terrace to Alexandra Palace Theatre.
