BalletBoyz - Them/Us Tickets

Vaudeville Theatre

Following a highly successful tour, BalletBoyz’ Them/Us comes to the Vaudeville Theatre, marking the award-winning company's West End debut. Featuring original music and show-stopping movement, the double bill asks what our relationship is with the "other".

BalletBoyz’ critically lauded Them/Us will run at the Vaudeville Theatre, marking the dance troupe’s long-awaited West End debut. See the award-winning company’s ground-breaking double bill from 3 June 2019.

Them/Us is a collaboration with Sadler’s Wells, where the piece played as part of its UK tour. It received reverent praise from critics and audience members alike. Olivier Award-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon created Us; the troupe’s own dancers devised Them, the end result being a slick showcase of the BalletBoyz’ singular style.

Both pieces are set to stunning original scores. They explore the question of how we see our identity and where we see ourselves in juxtaposition with that which is “other”.

The all-male BalletBoyz Company comprises Benjamin Knapper, Harry Price, Liam Riddick, Dominic Rocca, Bradley Waller and Matthew Sandiford.

Wheeldon is a frequent collaborator with BalletBoyz, with their past work together including Mesmerics. He was awarded a Tony Award for Best Choreography for An American in Paris, and in 2016 he was made an OBE.

Emerging composer Charlotte Harding provides the score to Them. Harding is reunited with the company after having composed for BalletBoyz: Fourteen Days.

Cult singer-songwriter Keaton Henson composed the score to which Us is set. An English folk rock musician, artist and poet with six studio albums under his belt, Henson also composed the music for the film Young Men by BalletBoyz and BBC2.
