    Peacock Theatre

Australian company Masters of Choreography bring their thrilling show Beats on Pointe to London’s Peacock Theatre for a strictly limited season. Combining ballet and street dance styles with an engaging narrative, the production displays exciting dance moves from world-class performers and choreographers.

Fresh from a run in their native Australia, Masters of Choreography bring their electrifying show Beats on Pointe to the Peacock Theatre for five performances in February 2018. The hip-hop and ballet mashup has a bit of a Shakespearean story to hold it together, along with plenty of fun and a company of highly-skilled dancers.

When the ballet and street worlds collide, the result is more than a dance show, it becomes a celebration. Music, singing, freestyle, beatboxing and cutting-edge choreography combine with moments of comedy to create a fusion performance like no other.

Two choreographers and a team of dancers who can both plie and pop fill the 2-hour long show, which is packed full of colour, attitude and astounding dance moves. Beats on Pointe is the perfect show for the entire family and offers a special opportunity to see innovative dance all the way from Australia. Suitable for children over 5 years old, the ballet-street combination is guaranteed to appeal to audiences of all ages.

With only six thrilling performances over a limited five day season, dance lovers have the briefest opportunity to catch Beats on Pointe at London’s prolific Peacock Theatre, before it heads back to Australia. A spirited piece that encourages just how much fun dance can be, Beats on Pointe discovers how contrasting styles can work together to narrate a story.
