Presented in partnership with the London Climate Change Festival and the London Wildlife Trust, this nine-day event promises to be both enlightening and entertaining. 

What is the cabaret show Beautiful World Cabarets about?

The Beautiful World Cabarets are a series of performances that delve into the personal journeys of each artist as they reflect on the role of nature in their lives. Through a curated selection of songs and stories, each performer shares their unique connection to the environment, aiming to evoke a sense of wonder and responsibility towards our planet. The cabaret format allows for an intimate and engaging experience, where audiences can enjoy a diverse range of musical styles and heartfelt narratives that highlight the beauty and fragility of the natural world.

Beautiful World Cabaret originated from Janie Dee's vision to merge the arts with environmental advocacy. Following a successful run at Crazy Coqs at Brasserie Zedel in May 2025, the series has garnered acclaim for its innovative approach to raising awareness about climate change. Each performance is uniquely crafted, ensuring that no two shows are the same, and offering audiences a fresh perspective on the importance of preserving our planet.

• Janie Dee – Olivier Award-winning actress and curator of the series, known for her roles in Follies and Carousel. She performs on Saturday 5 July at 3:00pm and Tuesday 8 July at 9:30pm.
• Wayne Sleep OBE – Renowned dancer and choreographer, offering a performance that reflects on the beauty of our world. He appears on Saturday 5 July at 7:30pm.
• Carly Mercedes Dyer – Olivier Award-nominated actress, presenting a melodic journey through nature. She performs on Saturday 5 July at 9:30pm.
• Lorna Dallas – Acclaimed vocalist and storyteller, sharing her life stories through song. She appears on Sunday 6 July at 4:00pm.
• Cassidy Janson – Olivier Award winner, performing songs inspired by the natural world. She performs on Sunday 6 July at 6:00pm.
• EM The Master – Award-winning music artist and ocean conservationist, focusing on the wonders of the ocean. She performs on Monday 7 July at 7:30pm.
• Barlow & Smith – Dynamic musical theatre duo, contributing vibrant new compositions. They perform on Tuesday 8 July at 7:30pm.
• Olivia Williams, Julian Ovenden, and Lizzie Ball – This trio presents an eclectic evening of stories, music, and poems about the Beautiful World on Thursday 10 July at 7:30pm.(
• Alfie Friedman – Rising star and singer-songwriter, sharing original music that explores personal connection to the planet. He performs on Friday 11 July at 7:30pm.
• Sister Mary – Cabaret performer and activist, offering a playful yet poignant take on sustainability. She performs on Friday 11 July at 9:30pm.
• Ian Shaw – Jazz vocalist and comedian, fusing soulful song with storytelling to reflect on ecological and emotional landscapes. He performs on Saturday 12 July at 7:30pm.
• Mazaika Duo – Acclaimed Russian musical pair, bringing an eclectic mix of folk, jazz, and tango to their joyful, nature-inspired set. They perform on Saturday 12 July at 9:30pm.
• Laura Pitt-Pulford – Olivier Award-nominated musical theatre actress, bringing sincerity and warmth to her musical reflections on the environment. She performs on Sunday 13 July at 4:00pm.
• Dame Maureen Lipman – Beloved stage and screen legend, delivering witty and wise observations with her signature charm and gravitas. She performs on Sunday 13 July at 6:00pm.
