For Jihad, Rashid and Asif, Chunkyz Shisha Lounge is a home away from home. It’s a place where community gossip and news are exchanged, jokes are shared and side hustles are born and nurtured. But Chunkyz is also under threat: local politicians are set on making sure it closes.Aspiring journalist Jihad won’t take this lying down and is prepared to fight back in the best way he knows how. After winning a competition to produce his own documentary, he plans to create something that gives his community a voice and challenges the stereotypes. But will Jihad succeed and make his boys proud? Or will his dreams come with a price that he cannot bear? And is he helping, or hurting the people he wants to speak out for?
