Love and desire at Coney Island

New York Metropolitan Opera’s Coney Island- set production of Così fan tutte brings all the fun of the fair to the West End, as Mozart’s masterful comic opera opens at the London Coliseum.

Set at the famous Coney Island funfair, sisters Fiordiligi and Dorabella are enjoying a holiday with their fiancés, Ferrando and Guglielmo. But the fair’s manipulative ringmaster, Don Alfonso, has set his sights on a love game; in this liminal space where anything can happen, the lovers are caught in a web of love, lust and deceit.

Director Phelim McDermott and British conductor Kerem Hasan leads an exciting cast including Nardus Williams as Fiordiligi, mezzo-soprano Hanna Hipp as Dorabella, Benson Wilson as Guglielmo, tenor Amitai Pati as Ferrando and baritone Neal Davies as Don Alfonso.

Featuring Mozart’s incredible score mixed with a dazzling 1950s aesthetic, Così fan tutte tickets will transport opera lovers to a holiday destination full of surprises. The opera runs at the London Coliseum for two weeks, from 10 March 2022.
