About the show
Dawn French: 30 Million Minutes is French’s first ever solo show, documenting how she spent her whole life attempting to be a fully functioning female human. With plenty of jokes thrown in, as well as some emotional truths, 30 Million Minutes is not quite stand-up, not quite a play and not really a full-on monologue. In fact, French says it is worth going just to finally witness what size she actually is! With an extraordinary lack of willpower, combined with a bit of showing off, Dawn French reveals her 30 million minutes of being alive.
Best-known for her hilarious stint on The Vicar of Dibley, as well as being half of French and Saunders, Dawn French is one of Britain’s best-loved comediennes. An award-winning actor and best-selling novelist, French has starred in Larkrise to Candleford, Jam & Jerusalem, Little Britain and even Harry Potter. Recipient of the BAFTA Fellowship, French has led a busy life – which she is now ready to share…
Produced by Phil McIntyre Entertainments, 30 Million Minutes is written by Dawn French and features design by Lez Brotherston, with lighting design by Willie Williams. Running for a strictly limited season only, Dawn French: 30 Millions Minutes promises a hilarious, shrewd and very very truthful insight into French’s life, both public and private.
