Overview
Winter is coming to the West End, as the hilarious comedy Graeme of Thrones strides into London’s Charing Cross Theatre for a limited four-week season. Created by some of the UK’s top comedy writers, the production sees a Game of Thrones super-fan attempt to recreate the epic saga with some high-budget ideas and low-budget props.
Following a hugely successful international tour, the pant-wettingly funny parody of the popular HBO series has impressed audiences across Chicago, Toronto, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, before being banned from performing in Malaysia!
Described as a must-see for any Game of Thrones fan, the brilliantly inventive production sees avid fan Graeme take audiences on a rollercoaster journey through the Seven Kingdoms. Desperate to recreate his favourite show on stage, he puts aside his lack of budget, cast members and performances skills, as he’s sure George RR Martin would approve.
After all, that’s all that matters… Until Graeme catches wind that a famous theatre producer is in the building! Quickly, Graeme must transform his low-budget show into an epic saga! Let’s just hope that nothing goes wrong…
Packed full of hilarious gags, terrible props and superb comic timing, Graeme of Thrones is written by Toby Park, Andrew Doyle and Dan Evans. Produced by Alex Jarrett and directed by Sam Bailey, casting includes Ali Brice as Graeme, Libby Northedge as Bryony and Mark Davison as Paul.
A very funny parody that is guaranteed to have audiences laughing until they cry, the production plays at the Charing Cross Theatre from October 10th to November 11th 2017.
