    Sadler's Wells

Hofesh Shechter’s breathtaking show Grande Finale returns to London's Sadler's Wells this summer, as part of a phenomenal international tour. A beautiful fusion of theatre, dance and live gig this stunning production plays at the famous dance house for limited performances in July.

Part dance, part gig, part theatre and a wholly original experience, Hofesh Shechter has single-handedly created a fresh, compelling genre, returning to London this July, after a sensational run in September 2017. Shechter’s breath-taking new show Grande Finale comes back to Sadler’s Wells for limited performances as part of an extensive international tour.

Shechter’s choreography, combined with his haunting electronic sounds and vocal chants, tells the story of a world in freefall as an emotional vortex spirals humanity inexorably towards an existential abyss.

Bringing together a talented tribe of ten world-class dancers, Grande Finale fuses theatre and dance in spectacularly staged style. Set to a pulsating symphonic score, the show features a stunning ensemble of live musicians who accompany Shechter’s lithe, anarchic choreography.

The company’s exceptional ensemble of dancers unite from eight different countries. Talent includes Chien-Ming Chang, Frédéric Despierre, Rachel Fallon, Mickael Frappat, Yeji Kim, Kim Kohlmann, Erion Kruja, Merel Lammers, Attila Ronai and Diogo Sousa, with Associate Director Bruno Guillore.

The production features musicians live on stage, including James Adams, Chris Allan, Rebekah Allan, Mehdi Ganjvar, Sabio Janiak and Desmond Neysmith. Hofesh Shechter - Grande Finale is designed by celebrated designer Tom Scutt, with lighting design by Tom Visser.

Hofesh Shechter - Grande Finale is the explosive dance experience, returning to Sadler’s Wells’ stage for a limited run from 4 July to 7 July 2018.
