Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain Part Four Tickets

Following a sell-out run in 2018, The Birmingham Stage Company returns with their side-splitting Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain Part Four. Breathing new life into historical characters from Britain’s oh so colourful past, this is a history lesson with all the juicy bits left in. Catch it at the Apollo Theatre from 1-31 August 2019.

Just imagine if you could meet with all the daring and dastardly characters from history. The only problem is, they all appear to be dead! Luckily the Horrible Histories gang are here to introduce us to the hearty heroes and vile villains of the long-ago past. Meet the ruthless Romans, recoil at Richard III and witness Elizabeth I’s abominable teeth! Escape King James I’s witch-hunt, peep into the life of Samuel Pepys and help Georgian detectives hunt for the headless man.

The best-selling Horrible Histories book series was created by Terry Deary and has since been adapted into a hit television series and a highly acclaimed set of stage shows. Barmy Britain Part Four is written and created by Neal Foster. Set and costume design comes from Jacqueline Trousdale, lighting design is by Jason Taylor and sound design is by Nick Sagar.

Prepare to laugh, wince and learn at this unique show, from the company who brought us Gangsta Granny, More Best of Barmy Britain and Barmy Britain Parts I, II and III. Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain Part Four enjoys a summer season at the Apollo Theatre from 1-31 August 2019.

    Performance dates: 30 Aug 2019 - 31 Aug 2019

The horrible histories stage shows are always great fun and well performed usually by a 2 person cast. This is not the same as the TV series, more like the radio shows.
