Based on Victor Hugo’s novel, Les Misérables is a story of love, loss and justice during the French Revolution. A host of characters feature, including ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, who is determined to start anew, and the obsessive Inspector Javert who refuses to let him live freely.

Les Misérables: The Staged Concert at the Sondheim Theatre reunites the incredible cast from 2019’s sold-out season at the Gielgud Theatre. Alfie Boe stars as Jean Valjean, alternating the role with John Owen-Jones for select performances. Michael Ball appears as Inspector Javert, Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine and Matt Lucas as Thénardier.

Alongside a company of over 50 actors and musicians, the musical features Boublil and Schönberg’s rousing score, including “One Day More” and “Do You Hear the People Sing?”.
