Please note that performances of Machine de Cirque have been cancelled in response to government advice regarding coronavirus (COVID-19).
In the wake of the apocalypse, four circus artists and a musician seem quite alone in the world, with only each other, their juggling clubs and instruments for company. Armed with a zest for life and a determination to find other survivors, the team set out across the wasteland in a piece of performance art that’s both nostalgic and full of mirth.
Combining live music, acrobatics and storytelling, Machine de Cirque is a Québec-based theatrical company well-loved for their bizarre but wonderful imagination. The team includes Artistic Director Vincent Dubé; circus artists Yohann Trépanier, Raphaël Dubé, Ugo Dario and Maxim Laurin; and musical composer Frédéric Lebrasseur.
From teeterboards to bath towels, prepare for the unexpected when Machine de Cirque hits the West End. Catch this haphazard but utterly charming show at the Peacock Theatre from 8 September 2020.
