My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?) Tickets

Performer and social media sensation Rob Madge’s joyful show about growing up queer with a supportive family returns to the West End.

Rob Madge’s joyful show returns

Don’t rain on Rob Madge’s Disney parade - their WhatsOnStage Award-winning autobiographical show My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?) is a burst of joy in the West End and a celebration of growing up queer with a family that cheers you on.

When Rob was 12 years old, they decided to stage a full Disney parade in their living room. Cobbling together wigs and props, Rob played Mary Poppins, Ariel, Mickey Mouse and Belle with aplomb. Unfortunately, mum and dad weren’t quite up to the job… dad pushed floats in the wrong direction, mum got Aladdin confused with Ursula and the costumes were a bit of a disaster.

On the plus side, Grandma loved it.

Featuring home video recordings of Rob’s childhood antics, My Son’s a Queer is a sparkling show from social media sensation and actor Madge. Their artistic vision has propelled them from enthusiastic living room performances to appearing in the Palladium Panto and a previous two week run of their one-person show at the Garrick Theatre in 2022.

Don’t miss My Son’s a Queer tickets at the Ambassadors Theatre! This effervescent show is irresistible and unmissable.
