Neville's Island Tickets

Tim Firth’s dark comedy Neville’s Island is returning to the West End after more than twenty years since its first premier. Arriving at the Duke of York’s Theatre in October 2015, the show will star four of the UK’s leading comedians, including Adrian Edmondson and Neil Morrissey.

Following a critically acclaimed run at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Neville’s Island will transfer to the Duke of York’s Theatre on October 10th 2014. First staged in 1994 at the Apollo Theatre, the show was nominated for an Olivier Award the following year and has since been adapted for television, starring Timothy Spall and Martin Clunes.

Written by Tim Firth, Neville’s Island sees four businessmen endeavouring to have a successful team-building trip in Cumbria’s Lake District. As they attempt some bonding exercises they are plagued by bad weather and hunted by menacing wildlife, which soon results into a chaotic yet hilarious combination of squabbling and misadventures.

Neville’s Island is directed by Angus Jackson and stars four of the UK’s leading comedians: Adrian Edmondson (The Young Ones) as Gordon, Miles Jupp (Rev, The Thick of It) as Angus, Neil Morrissey (Men Behaving Badly, Waterloo Road) as Neville and Robert Webb (Peep Show, That Mitchell and Webb Look) as Roy. The star-studded cast will no doubt bring out the true comic potential of Firth’s script. The creative team will include design by Robert Innes Hopkins, lighting by Howard Harrison and sound by Paul Groothuis. Neville’s Island promises to be delectably dark and comic and will open at the Duke of York’s Theatre from October 10th 2014 to January 2rd 2015.
