Getting into the Venue
The New Wimbledon Theatre main entrance is located on the corner of The Broadway, Wimbledon, with 6 steep steps up to the main foyer. There are handrails in place either side of the steps. This entrance leads directly into a small foyer, with the Box Office on the left and a small shop on the right. There is a further 8 steps up to the access point to the rest of the venue.
Alternatively, there is level access to the Stalls from street level, via an alternative entrance situated on Russell Road. This entrance leads to a wheelchair accessible lift which can take patrons to the Stalls level.
Staff must be notified upon arrival if customers wish to use the alternative entrance on Russell Road and are available to assist with navigation.
An at-seat service is available for patrons who are unable to access the bars. Transfers are available, but a companion must be brought.
How to Book
For those who require special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces and transfers, it is important to book in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Discounted tickets are available for one access patron and a companion and must be booked through the Box Office.
