About the show
Packed with crazy experiments, amazing facts and plenty of fun, the family show is the theatrical experience of the two-time BAFTA winning children’s show, which captured the minds of audiences from across the globe. Combining the UK’s National Health Service with television tricks and global health work, Operation Ouch! Live on Stage is a treat not to be missed.
What exactly goes on inside Dr Xand’s head? Are germs actually good for you? What could you do with a month’s worth of farts? How does sneezing work? What happens to food once you eat it? And, are bugs good for you? Expect all of these important questions to be answered in the show!
Twin brothers Chris and Xand van Tulleken created the show after both graduating from Oxford University in 2002. Since then, the well-known doctor and presenter pair have gone on to appear in television shows such as Blizzard: Race to the Pole, Medicine Men and Medicine Men Go Wild, amongst more!
Prepare to laugh, learn and gasp at this brilliantly entertaining show, which is suitable for families of all ages. Playing a limited holiday season at London’s Apollo Theatre, Operation Ouch! Live on Stage runs from 6 December 2018 to 6 January 2019, with an official opening on 9 December 2019.
