Queen's Theatre accessibility

Getting into the Venue

The Queen’s Theatre main entrance is situated on the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue. There is level access into the main theatre foyer, Box Office, bars and kiosks. A drop-off point is located in front of the building.

All sections of the theatre must be reached by stairs, as there is no customer lift. Alternatively, the Dress Circle can be accessed via an accessible entrance on Wardour Street, which is through the fourth side door. This entrance leads directly to accessible seating in the Dress Circle.

Customer Assistance

Patrons who wish to use the alternative entrance on Wardour Street must notify a member of staff on arrival, who will escort them to the entrance. Staff are on hand to assist with navigation throughout the theatre. Seating is available in the main foyer.

Transfers are available to Row D in the Dress Circle, and those wishing to transfer must bring a companion. Staff are able to store wheelchairs for the duration of the performance.

How to Book

For those who require special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Access patrons and their companions are eligible for significant discounts with access rates.
