    Adapted from the famous Dickens novel, Scrooge the Musical follows the miserable Grinch-like Ebenezer Scrooge, who has no warmth in his heart. Settling in for a stingy Christmas, Scrooge spends his evening being visited by the spooky ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, which give him a truthful and terrifying insight into his life as it is. Soon, Scrooge discovers that he needs to change his ways before he ends up truly alone. A heart-warming tale of redemption, love and family, Scrooge the Musical is sure to sprinkle a little Christmas spirit across audiences!

    Star of Hollywood blockbusters The Happiest Millionaire, Finian’s Rainbow and Half a Sixpence, Tommy Steele reprises his acclaimed role as Scrooge. Scrooge the Musical features a magical musical score from Leslie Bricusse, including Oscar nominated song “Thank You Very Much”, as well as “I Hate Christmas”, “It’s Not My Fault”, “I’ll Begin Again” and “Better Life”. Bricusse’s major musicals include Stop the World – I Want to Get Off and Pickwick.

    Directed by Bob Tomson (Blood Brothers, Dreamboats and Petticoats), Scrooge the Musical features choreography by Lisa Kent, lighting design by Nick Richings and sound design by Ben Harrison, as well as illusions by magician Paul Kieve, who is renowned for his work on the Harry Potter films, as well as Ghost the Musical. Originally a 1970 film starring Alec Guinness and Albert Finney, Scrooge the Musical is the award-winning, international smash-hit that is sure to entertain audiences.
