Wherefore art thou (drunken) Romeo? Shit-Faced Shakespeare is back in London with a hilariously boozy version of Romeo and Juliet.

A boozy tale of star-crossed lovers!

Shit-Faced Shakespeare is back in London in 2023. Book tickets for Shit-Faced Shakespeare: Much Ado About Nothing.

Get the drinks in at Leicester Square Theatre as hilarious comedy-theatre troupe Shit-Faced Shakespeare return to London, offering their alcohol-fuelled, unique take on Romeo and Juliet.

This classic tale of two lovestruck teens from warring families is one of Shakespeare’s most beloved tragedies. As the Capulets and Montagues lock horns and their children hurtle towards a disastrous end, Shit-Faced Shakespeare add a drunk actor to the mix. What could possibly go wrong?

The Shit-Faced Shakespeare West End residence at Leicester Square Theatre is a highlight of the venue’s annual lineup, thanks to their raucous and unpredictable approach to Shakespeare’s greatest hits.

At each performance, one actor is chosen to down drinks before curtains up, and their sober co-stars brace themselves for whatever’s thrown at them on stage… whether that’s “wherefore art thou drunken Romeo” or “these tipsy delights have tipsy ends”!

Alcohol-soaked actors and an audience who are definitely encouraged to heckle - this isn’t the Shakespeare you learnt at school. For a laugh-out-loud, unorthodox take on the Bard’s most famous works, book Shit-Faced Shakespeare tickets.
