Songs For A New World

Explore the world as it is and the hope for a brighter future in Songs For A New World at the Vaudeville Theatre. The theatrical song cycle returns to London for a full season after a series of acclaimed COVID secure in-person and digital performances.

Songs For A New World transports audiences through time and space, and across the life experiences of a diverse group of people. The show - part musical and part abstract song cycle - is a transfixing look at the defining choices we make in the search for a better world.

Songs For A New World, first seen Off-Broadway in 1995, previously played a sold-out performance at London Palladium and online in 2020. It brings together a cast of five leading musical theatre artists, David Hunter (Waitress), Cedric Neal (Motown The Musical), Rachel John (Hamilton), Rachel Tucker (Wicked) and Shem Omari James.

Songs For A New World at the Vaudeville Theatre is written and composed by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years), directed by Séimí Campbell and features musical supervision by Adam Hoskins.

Traversing life, love, and the defining moments in our lives, Songs For A New World is a powerful musical that celebrates common humanity. It opens at the Vaudeville Theatre in February 2021.
