As the nights draw in, the sensational, sizzling firecracker Tango After Dark dances into the Peacock Theatre for a strictly limited season. Featuring world-class dancers performing routines based on the incomparable Argentine tango, Tango After Dark plays at the London venue from February 2018.
Tango After Dark reveals tango in its most authentic and untouched form. An intimate performance that features the soaring music of Piazzolla, merged with the incredible dance movements of the famous style, the production features a stellar cast of dancers from German Cornejo’s Dance Company.
German Cornejo is one of the world’s most famous dance choreographers and teachers, with many of his students featuring in his shows and going on to win world championships. Previous shows have including Tango Fire – Flames of Desire, which earned critical acclaim from across the globe.
The production features an impressive cast of seven musicians, two singers and ten dancers, of which four are world tango champions. Together, they combine to create an exquisitely danced piece that brings to life the vivid and vibrant roots of the famous dance style.
