Please note that performances of Tango after Dark have been cancelled in response to government advice regarding coronavirus (COVID-19).
Performed by ten world-class dancers, Tango after Dark is an incredible showcase of South American culture and movement that conjures the sights and sounds of sun-kissed Buenos Aires and its famed bars. Artistic Director and choreographer German Cornejo delivers passion and athleticism accompanied by a team of singers and musicians who bring Piazzolla’s “Nuevo Tango” to life.
Two-time World Tango Champion Cornejo first brought the show to the Peacock Theatre in 2018, performing alongside dance partner Gisela Galeassi. He is the choreographer of a series of other shows including Immortal Tango and Tango Fire.
Tango after Dark in the West End will heat up your night after the sun’s gone down. It plays at the Peacock Theatre from 29 September 2020.
