The Crucible Tickets

Gielgud Theatre

Paranoia and mass hysteria abound as the National Theatre’s hit revival of Arthur Miller’s classic play transfers to the West End.

A witch hunt begins in Salem…

Paranoia and mass hysteria creep into the West End in The Crucible at the Gielgud Theatre this year. Experience the truth on trial in Arthur Miller’s classic play, direct from the National Theatre.

In Salem, Massachusetts, a community teeters on the edge of hysteria. When a group of young women realise the power of their collective voice, cries of witchcraft spiral out of control and a terrifying trial begins.

Arthur Miller’s fearsome play is an account of society pushed to the brink as personal grievances become public vendettas. It has been reimagined and restaged countless times since first premiering in 1953, and remains fiercely relevant in the 21st century.

Director Linsdey Turner’s (Top Girls; Under Milk Wood) urgent and instinctive production opened at the Olivier Theatre in 2022, and now transfers to the West End for a limited season.

The cast of The Crucible at the Gielgud Theatre is led by Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon) in her West End debut as Abigail.

Book The Crucible tickets to experience the full force of Miller’s visceral, claustrophobic classic on stage.
