The True Story of The Enfield HauntingThe incomprehensible true story that inspired this fantastic new play took place between 1977 and 1979 at 284 Green Street, Enfield. Following alleged supernatural activity focused on 11-year-old Janet and 13-year-old Margaret Hodgson, ghost hunters and paranormal experts descended on the property and a debate about what was really happening unfolded. The case captured the public’s imagination and was reported in the news, and fans of horror films will recognise it as the subject of The Conjuring 2.

Catherine Tate in The Enfield HauntingActress, writer and comedian Catherine Tate stars as Peggy Hodgson, making a return to the West End stage following acclaimed roles in Much Ado About Nothing and Assassins. She is best known for her comedy shows The Catherine Tate Show and Queen of Oz, and for starring in Doctor Who.
The cast of The Enfield Haunting also includes David Threlfall as ghost hunter Maurice Grosse. Threlfall has appeared in many stage and screen roles including black comedy Hangmen.
