In the middle of the woods, surrounded by its animal friends, the Fir Tree has a peaceful life. But it is also curious. What is the rest of the world like? What adventures lie beyond the forest when it grows up?

Hans Christian Andersen’s festive tale is reimagined in a production that sees the wooden ‘o’ become a forest made of cardboard. Featuring puppetry, carol sing-a-longs, tree decorating and hot chocolate to keep you warm, this interactive story is the perfect way to get into the spirit of the season whatever your age.

Writer Hannah Khalil and director Michelle Terry bring this heartwarming show back to the Globe for a second year, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas at an iconic London landmark.
