Boyband star Simon Webbe dons the fur to become Wolf in Stiles and Drewe’s musical twist of the classic fairy-tale The Three Little Pigs. Renowned for writing the international smash-hits Honk! and Mary Poppins, the duo have adapted the popular children’s story for the stage, in a modern, funky production that will engage even the tiniest theatregoer! In an all-new retelling of the well-known story, the three little pigs have become world famous celebrity singing sensations! Leaving their mother’s home, the piggies set out on their own adventure without realising they are being pursued by the Big Bad Wolf, who is determined to huff and puff and blow them away! And though the pigs may love to sing together, it’s their differences that can help to get rid of a very misunderstood Wolf. But who will come out on top? There’s only one way to find out!
Best-known for his starry career with boyband Blue, Simon Webbe stars as the mischievous Wolf, alongside Olivier Award-winning actress Leanne Jones (Hairspray) as Bee. Further cast members include Daniel Buckley (The Book of Mormon), Taofique Folarin (The Lion King, Avenue Q) and Alison Jiear (Britain’s Got Talent).
The Three Little Pigs features direction, lyrics and a book by Anthony Drewe, with music by George Stiles.
