The magnificent score evokes the power of nature and the supernatural, made all the more resonant in François Girard’s ghostly production.
Bass-baritone Tomasz Konieczny stars as the Dutchman in Der Fliegende Holländer at the Met Opera, alongside soprano Elza van den Heever as Senta, tenor Eric Cutler as Erik and bass Dmitry Belosselskiy as Daland.
