Funny Girl charts the highs and lows of her career and personal life, as this comedic star navigates fame, fortune and a tempestuous marriage.
Partly based on the real Fanny Brice, this bittersweet comedy features some of the most iconic songs in musical history, including “Don’t Rain On My Parade” and “People”. It first opened on Broadway in 1964, starring Barbra Streisand, and earned an incredible eight Tony Award nominations.
In director Michael Mayer’s revival, Lea Michele stars as Fanny Brice, opposite Ramin Karimloo (Les Misérables) as husband Nick Arnstein. Further casting includes Tovah Feldshuh and Jared Grimes.
