What is the Harmony musical about?

The Comedian Harmonists were one of the biggest close harmony ensembles working in the 1920s and 30s. They sold millions of records, made dozens of movies, and played to sold-out audiences at some of the biggest theaters in the world.

The Harmony on Broadway Creative Team

This brand-new musical features an original score by the legendary Barry Manilow - a Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winner who knows how to create an earworm! The lyrics and book are by Drama Desk Award winner Bruce Sussman, and the show is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle (The Music Man, Hello, Dolly!).

The members of The Comedian Harmonists are played by Sean Bell (Bobby), Danny Kornfeld (Young Rabbi), Zal Owen (Harry), Eric Peters (Erich), Blake Roman (Chopin) and Steven Telsey (Lesh).

The cast of Harmony also features Chip Rien as Rabbi, Sierra Borgess (The Phantom of the Opera) as Mary, Julie Benko as Ruth, Allison Semmes as Josephine Baker, and Andrew O’Shanick as Standartenfϋhrer.
