Discover the story of former Filipina First Lady Imelda Marcos in this immersive disco-pop musical from David Byrne and Fatboy Slim.

    A ground-breaking, immersive musical event

A revolutionary musical experience opens in New York this year with Here Lies Love at the Broadway Theatre. This groundbreaking show brings the story of former Filipina First Lady Imelda Marcos, and the revolution that toppled her, to the fore with music by David Byrne and Fatboy Slim.

Imelda Marcos rise to power and subsequent violent fall is an extraordnary story of revolution. The wife of President Ferdinand Marcos was by his side during a 20-year dictatorship, until an assassination sparked the Peoeple Power Revolution and the Marcos were overthrown.

Here Lies Love comes to Broadway after sold-out, critically acclaimed seasons Off-Broadway, and in Seattle and London. It is masterminded by Tony and Academy Award-winner David Byrne, with additional music by Fatboy Slim. With the help of choreogapher Annie-B Parson and director Alex Timbers, the Broadway Theatre is transformed into a dance club, and audience members can choose Standing tickets for total immersion in this dramatic true story.

The cast of Here Lies Love includes Arielle Jacobs as Imelda Marcos, Conrad Ricamora as Nonoy Aquino, and Lea Salonga appearing as Aurora Aquino in a guest engagement from July 11-August 13.
