    A snapshot of family life

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but do we all remember that snapshot moment in the same way? New Broadway play Pictures From Home takes us on a journey through one family’s history, filtered through the lens.

This comic-dramatic portrait of a mother, father and the son who photographed their lives is based on a real photo memoir by Larry Sultan. Exploring the shifting memories between children and parents, Pictures From Home is an evocative, tender and captivating tribute to the complex links that make up our family relationships.

Tony Award winner Nathan Lane (The Producers; The Nance) and Olivier Award winner Zoë Wanamaker (Awake and Sing!) star as the parents in Pictures From Home on Broadway, opposite Danny Burstein (Moulin Rouge!) as their son.

The show is adapted by Sharr White (The Other Place) and directed by Tony Award winner Barlett Sher (To Kill a Mockingbird; South Pacific).

Get a glimpse inside the family photo album and learn about the secrets behind the camera with Pictures From Home tickets, playing at Studio 54.

Wonderful play, so well performed by the 2 male leads. The voice of Zoe Wanamaker was not properly miked so much of her dialogue was lost to those of us in the mexx or balcony. Please notify the staff of this issue. Otherwise it was theater at its best. Truly enjoyable.
