Grammy winners Shane McAnally and Brandy Clark collaborate on an upbeat new musical about corn, community and unlikely friendships.

A kernel of joy on Broadway

Sometimes, corny isn’t such a bad thing… Grammy winners Shane McAnally and Brandy Clark team up for Shucked, the hilarious tale of a small town’s heart and soil, playing at the Nederlander Theatre.

This unique new musical has all the ingredients for a hit: a quirky New York comedy writer and two star Nashville musicians, creating a story about one of the greatest American stalwarts of them all - corn. Get ready to enjoy a bold, audacious romp about tearing down a few walls and preserving a way of life, slathered with a love for country music and rural humor.

Shucked on Broadway features a score by Country icons Shane McAnally and Brandy Clark and a book by Tony Award winner Robert Horn (Tootsie). This kernel of pure delight is directed by Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien (Hairspray) - a creative team that’s surely whet your appetite for Shucked musical tickets!

The cast of Shucked includes John Behlmann, Alex Newell, Kevin Cahoon, Andrew Durand, Caroline Innerbichler and Ashley D. Kelley.

This off-the-wall musical has a massive heart and will leave you feeling hopeful even when times seem tough. Shucked is fresh off the fields and onto Broadway in 2023.

    Tickets FAQ

Ticket prices range from approximately $59 to $296, depending on the date you book, performance times and availability.
Premium seats costing up to $296 are located in rows B-H of the Center Orchestra, and the first few seats in the Left and Right Orchestra.

These seats offer a fantastic view of the two-level set and energetic performances at this musical, with seats like D107 and D112 rated 5 stars thanks to their excellent position. Sit here and you’ll get the best of both worlds: not too close, but close enough to see all the quirks and details of this fun show.
Choose a midweek performance and save up to 20% on tickets to this show, or if you want to attend at the weekend choose the Saturday or Sunday matinee, which are a bit cheaper than the most popular Friday and Saturday evening performances. Last-minute availability is good in the cheaper price bands, but always book a couple of weeks ahead to ensure you get the tickets you want.

There are lots of cheaper restricted view seats and we suggest looking at the Left and Right Mezzanine, rows A-E, for a good balance between view and price. These seats are often 50% cheaper than premium. From B22 there is a clear view of the stage, including the upper level that actors perform on, whilst from D26 you miss “one small corner of the stage but you didn’t miss anything in this production”.
