Getting into the Venue
The Princess of Wales Theatre is situated on King Street West and is step-free from the street into the Main Lobby through large, glass double-doors. If entering from the parking garage, elevators are located on level P1 and P4, and can take patrons up to street level, which arrives beside the entrance of the theatre.All levels of the theatre can be accessed via lobby elevators, which provide access to wheelchair and assisted seating in the Orchestra, Dress Circle and Balcony. Due to the contemporary build of the venue, it is suitably accessible.
Customer Assistance
Staff are available for patrons who require assistance. Those who wish to transfer into assisted seating or wheelchair seats are advised to bring a companion, however staff are also trained to assist patrons.The Princess Suite is available to hire at the Dress Circle level of the theatre. Accommodating up to 25 people, the suite features a private restroom, bar and complimentary coat check. The Mirvish Suite is available to hire on the basement level of the theatre, adjacent to the CAA Lounge. Fitting up to 12 people, the suite offers a private restroom, bar and complimentary coat check.
The Princess of Wales Theatre is able to store items in coat check at the main lobby, for a cost of $2.50.

Section Accessibility
Orchestra
The Orchestra is step-free from the street and Main Lobby, and there are lobby elevators to access the seating from street level and from the parking garage below the theatre. Once inside the auditorium, there are steps to reach rows H-W, all of which are highlighted with a handrail in place. There is a gradual ramp between rows AA-G.
Wheelchair and assisted seating is available in this section.
Legroom is good throughout the Orchestra, with extra space available in Row B and in aisle seats.
Dress Circle
The Dress Circle is accessible step-free from street level and the Main Lobby, as well as from the parking garage located below the theatre, via elevators. Once inside the Dress Circle, there are two steps to reach each row. All steps are highlighted, with handrails in place. Boxes and Slips can be reached without steps.
Wheelchair and assisted seating is available in this section.
Additional legroom can be found in the movable Box and Slip seats, or in Row A and any aisle seats.
Balcony
The Balcony can be accessed step-free from street level and from the Main Lobby, as well as from the parking garage located below the theatre, via elevators. Once inside the Balcony, there are three steps to reach each row. All steps are highlighted with handrails in place. Please note that this section is very steep.
Wheelchair and assisted seating is available in this section. Rows AA and BB can be reached without steps.
Legroom may be limited in this section, so the best option is aisle seats or rows AA-BB.
