Getting into the Venue

Access to Longacre Theatre is via the main entrance on West 48th Street, through an automatic door and ramp into the ticket lobby. A further set of double doors into the Orchestra, where wheelchair seating is located, is attended by ushers.

The Orchestra is step-free for all patrons, with three designated wheelchair spaces in the middle and back rows. A number of transfer seats with folding armrests are available on all three levels of seating.

Patrons should note that the Mezzanine and Balcony are not step-free, and the small elevator cannot accommodate all sizes of wheelchair. Once on the higher levels, there are handrails on every stepped row.

Customer Assistance

A unisex wheelchair accessible restroom is reached using the elevator. Patrons should contact the theater in advance or ask for assistance upon arrival, as this elevator cannot accommodate all wheelchair sizes. Other restrooms are located down 20 steps from the ground floor.

Assistance is available in the ticket lobby and Box Office, alongside a lowered window for access.

Please be aware that staff may be unable to provide assistance to patrons where there are steps inside the theater, so it is advised that you attend with a companion where possible.
