How to Add a Photo and Review

You’ve watched the show, bought your interval ice cream and taken an excellent photo of the stage: now it’s time to upload your review to our site and earn Rewards points!

Booked with SeatPlan? If you booked your tickets through SeatPlan, click on the link in the email “How was the show?”. The venue, seat and show details will automatically be added to the review form, so you can skip to Step 4.

Booked with another company? If you didn’t buy your tickets through SeatPlan start from Step 1.

Step 1: Log in to your account

Step 2: Select the venue

  • Type the name of the venue you attended. When you start typing, a drop-down list of suggested venues will appear. Click on the correct one.

Step 3: Add your seat details

  • Select the section, row and seat number that you sat in.
  • Add the date of the show you attended. This should match your ticket stub.

Step 4: Rate your seat and add a comment

  • In the Comfort, Legroom and View fields, click on the star that matches your rating.
  • Add your seat comments. They can be as long or short as you like. Take a look at our handy guide to What Makes a Good Review if you’re not sure what to include. 
  • Seat comments are optional, but they really help our community out. Plus, adding a seat comment is a good way to earn maximum reward points.

Step 5: Rate the show and add your review

  • If the show hasn’t been autofilled, type the name in the Show field. Select the correct show from the suggestions. Only shows that are bookable through SeatPlan will appear. 
  • Click on the star that matches your rating of the show.
  • Add your review of the show. This can be as brief or as long as you like. For more tips on writing a review, and what we do and don’t allow, check our Review Guidelines.

  • Adding a show review is optional, but helps other theatregoers decide what to see!

Step 6: Add your view from seat photo

  • Click the ‘Add photo from your seat’ button.

  • If you’re uploading from a desktop or laptop computer, a box will open allowing you to select the photo from your device. Once you’ve selected it, click ‘Open’. Your photo should then appear on the review page.

  • If you’re uploading from a mobile phone, a box will pop up that gives you the option of taking a photograph or selecting an existing file or photo. If you’re uploading an existing photo, click the option for ‘Photo Library’. This will open your phone’s photo gallery. Select the photo and click ‘Done’ in the top right-hand corner. Your photo should then appear on the review page.

  • Please make sure your photo meets our guidelines. Photos that don’t may be removed. 

Step 7: Add your ticket photo

  • If you didn’t book with SeatPlan you’ll need to upload a ticket photo to prove you attended the show. 
  • Click on ‘Add photo of your ticket’ to upload a photo of your ticket or a screenshot of your e-tickets.

  • Find the photo on your computer or mobile phone.  
  • Make sure your ticket stub matches the details you entered in the seat details field. Our team may need to amend the seat numbers if they don’t match the stub.
  • Ticket stubs are optional, but they help our team verify your photos and ensure you get maximum reward points on eligible photos.  

Step 8: Check your review and submit

  • Double-check the details of your review, making sure it lines up with our guide to what makes a good seat review.
  • Tick the Terms & Conditions and click Save. Your review will be submitted to our team for approval! 

  • Reviews are usually approved within 24-48 hours, but this may take a little longer over weekends and bank holidays. 
  • Once it’s approved, you’ll get an email from us and your reward points should appear in your account straight away.
