SeatPlan Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out the terms which govern the collection, retention and processing of information collected from customers during uploading of content on and during the use of our seating guides as part of the SeatPlan community.

By disclosing your personal information through use of this website, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you have questions or concerns regarding this Policy, you should contact us at

The information we collect

When you register with SeatPlan, you provide your email address and name, and have the option to provide additional information including, but not limited to, your country, town, date of birth and gender.

Following registration and account activation, you may share your seating reviews across as many theatres as you wish,  including but not limited to, a personal profile, reviews and photos.

How we use the information

When other users click on your name anywhere on the SeatPlan site, your personal profile (excluding your email address) and seat reviews are displayed. Users will be able to see whatever content you upload to your profile, including photos, personal website link and seat reviews, but excluding email address. Users also have the option of inputting seat reviews as an anonymous user.

Your email address will be kept by SeatPlan who may contact you from time to time with updates and site changes. Your email address and personal information are never given to third parties unless we are required to do so by law. Should you select the ‘email me’ function when waiting for a seat review, the email address you provide will be contacted when that review becomes available.

At certain points during a visit to SeatPlan, our servers may log your IP address and this may be disclosed to our service providers.

Removing and updating information

Once a seat review has been uploaded to the site, it cannot be deleted. You can update your personal profile on the ‘Edit Profile’ page.
