Pantomime in Glasgow 2025
Get into the Christmas spirit this holiday season with a pantomime in Glasgow. Scotland's largest city is no stranger to hosting a pantomime, with the King’s Theatre alone having over 50 productions performed to hundreds of audiences since 1904. In recent years, audiences have been dazzled by Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Boasting bright and fun sets, with dazzling costumes and laugh-out-loud one-liners, it’s easy to see why the pantomime has been a Christmas staple across Scotland. A Glasgow panto offers something for everyone in the family, from hilarious skits to some of the best well-known songs. Don't miss out on holiday fun and find a panto to enjoy this year.

Who is in the The Little Mermaid cast?
Glasgow panto legends Elaine C Smith and Johnny Mac are back this year! They star in The Little Mermaid following their turn in last year's box-office record smashing Peter Pan. This dynamic duo bring big laughs and slapstick to the stage, alongside Darren Brownlie as Dishy Fishy - marking his 5th year in panto!
How long is The Little Mermaid?
The The Little Mermaid panto running time is to be confirmed, but King’s Theatre Glasgow pantomimes usually last for around 2 hours 30 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
What other pantomimes are in Glasgow in 2025?
There’s plenty of Glasgow pantomimes on your doorstep this Christmas! Catch Gallus in Weegieland at Tron Theatre in the city centre, a hilarious modern take on Alice in Wonderland. Or there’s Jock and the Beanstalk at Pavilion Theatre, a great option for locals. Produced by Imagine Theatre (the same team behind last year's hilarious Beauty and The Beastie) the panto follows the poor Trot family as they battle against the Glaikitguts, the greedy giant terrorising their town.
