Getting into the Venue
The Theatre Royal Glasgow’s main entrance is situated on Hope Street, with a drop-off point located outside the entrance. There is one small step up to the entrance, which gives level access to the box office, foyer and Stalls seating. Alternatively, a sloped ramp gives step-free access to the theatre foyer.All sections of the theatre can be reached by steps or by a customer lift. The lift has a weight restriction of 1250kg.

Customer Assistance
Staff are on hand to assist with navigation and the customer lift. Those who wish to transfer are advised to bring a companion. Transfer seats may be available in the front row, although there may be steps involved in the process. There are 2 wheelchair spaces per seating level, with access via a wheelchair-friendly customer lift. Patrons are able to remain in their wheelchairs.The theatre bars are accessible. An at-seat service is available and staff must be notified if this service is required. Please note that there is no wheelchair available for hire at this venue.
Accessible toilets are available on every level of the theatre.

For those who require assistance or wish to enquire about transfers or book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book well in advance to guarantee availability and to notify the theatre of any special requirements. Section Accessibility
Stalls
The Stalls are level access via the main entrance on Hope Street. There is one small step up to the theatre or a slight ramp for wheelchair users. There are 2 wheelchair spaces in Row E of the Stalls, with room for a companion to be seated by the patron. Seats J1-3, J28-30, K1-3 and K28-30 are recommended for transfers.
Extra legroom can be found throughout this section, particularly in the front few rows and in aisle seats.
Dress Circle
The Dress Circle can be accessed via 15+ steps up from the theatre foyer. Steps are located on the right-hand side of the foyer when entering from the main entrance. All steps have handrails and clear routes. Alternatively, a customer lift is available to take patrons to all levels of the theatre.
There are 2 wheelchair spaces at the rear of the Dress Circle, with room for a companion to be seated next to the patron.
Extra legroom can be found in the mid-front of this section.
Upper Circle
The Upper Circle can be reached via 15+ steps up from the main theatre foyer. All steps have handrails and a clear route. Alternatively, there is a lift to take patrons to all levels of the theatre.
There are 2 wheelchair spaces at the rear of the Upper Circle, with room for a companion to be seated next to the patron.
Please note that legroom in this section is slightly limited.

The Balcony can be accessed via 15+ steps up from the main theatre foyer. Steps have handrails and a clear route. Alternatively, a lift is available for patrons to access all levels of the theatre.
