Since then, locals have been treated to various incredible classic pantomime productions with star-studded casts. If you’re looking to enjoy Christmas theatre in Liverpool but you’re not sure about a pantomime, the city has also welcomed some fantastic touring productions through the festive season over the years.
With touring productions that include The Wizard of Oz, White Christmas and Dreamgirls, you’ll be in for a dazzling night of entertainment, usually straight from the West End! The musical that inspired the hit film franchise is a bit silly, but its winning mix of original storytelling and ABBA hits (including "Gimme Gimme Gimme" and "Dancing Queen") make it unmissable. How much are tickets for Mamma Mia?
Mamma Mia! ticket prices start at £20 with the most expensive tickets costing over £100 for a package seat in the Stalls. Concessions aren’t available for this production, but you can add experiences to your ticket for an extra price, including reservations for a pre-show meal at a local restaurant and Ambassador Lounge access, which includes alcohol, soft drinks, nibbles, ice cream and a programme.
