Location
King’s Theatre, Glasgow, is located on the western end of the city centre. Near the theatre, you can find several places to eat and drink, as well as the Centre for Contemporary Arts; a small gallery and cinema. About 10 minutes away from the theatre you can find the Buchanan Galleries, a shopping centre next to Queen Street Station with access to many restaurants and bars. There are also several museums close by, with excellent transport links on offer, due to the theatre being in the city centre.
Rail
ScotRail’s Charing Cross Station is a few minutes from the theatre. Exit the station onto Elmbank Crescent, turn left and walk to the corner of Elmbank Street. From here, turn left and cross Bath Lane. The theatre will be on the next corner, with its entrance on Bath Street.
Underground
Cowcaddens is the nearest Underground station, approximately a 10 minute walk from King’s Theatre. From the station, cross the junction onto Rose Street. Cross Buccleuch Street and continue to Blythswood Street. Upon reaching Bath Street, turn right and cross Douglas Street. After several more streets, King’s Theatre will be on the left at the corner of Elmbank Street.
Bus
Several bus routes serve Bath Street and stop outside of the theatre. These routes include: 15, 17, 77, 311, 833, N2, X1, X1A, X25, X25A, X76, X77 and X78.
Car
Glasgow City Council operates a car park behind the theatre, accessible via Elmbank Street. If you enter the car park after 6pm, it costs £2.50 for the evening.
