Brokeback Mountain Tickets

A star-studded cast brings the powerful love story to London in a fresh and moving play with music, co-created by Dan Gillespie Sells.

The powerful love story on stage

Mike Faist and Lucas Hedges star in the anticipated world-premiere stage adaptation of Brokeback Mountain at Soho Place. This play with music brings the powerful love story to life in a thrilling new adaptation of Annie Proulx’s short story.

On the isolated Brokeback Mountain in 1963, Ennis and Jack take on new jobs against an oppressive backdrop of rural poverty and parochial, conservative communities. Soon, their certain view of life is shaken by unexpected emotions and a 20-year love story, beset by hidden passions and tragedy, begins.

The brand new Brokeback Mountain play stars Academy Award nominee Lucas Hedges (Boy Erased; Three Billboards Ouside Ebbing, Missouri) as Ennis and Grammy Award winner Mike Faist (Newsies; Dear Evan Hansen) as Jack.

It is adapted by Ashley Robinson and interspersed with haunting and beautiful music from The Feeling’s Dan Gillespie Sells, all performed live by Eddi Reader and her onstage Country and Western band. Gillespie Sells and director Jonathan Butterell previously worked together on hit musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

This passionate, powerful play runs for a limited season in central London, so don’t miss the landmark production and book Brokeback Mountain tickets now.

Fantastic! Unfortunately due to a mechanical glitch with the stage on our show night there was an unplanned break of almost an hour while they fixed the problem - even that didn’t detract from an excellent show.

For the third and final time, as tonight was closing night for the West End run, I returned to Brokeback Mountain with Jack and Ennis. This time, I was sat right beside the band and allowed myself to drink in the luscious vocal from Eddi Reader, whil Read more
