About Christmas Actually

Curated by Richard Curtis (Four Weddings and a Funeral; Notting Hill), this is a treasure trove of festive entertainment. Expect to be regaled by music, poetry, comedy and stories from a host of celebrity faces; live illustrations from some of the world’s most acclaimed artists; even more celebrity appearances via video link; lots of Christmas cracker jokes; hilarious letters to Santa from real children; and a festive sing-along to tie up the evening in a perfect bow.

In trademark Richard Curtis style - and with a name inspired by his iconic Christmas film Love, Actually - this is an evening of merriment and good-spirited fun that perfectly captures the spirit of the season as the nights draw in and get colder.

As if that wasn't enough, you will also be helping others: Christmas Actually is created in partnership with Comic Relief and funds will go towards supporting their year-round work on projects across the UK and further afield.
