Enjoy the Disney Sensation with Frozen Tickets

Elsa and Anna’s adventures across the icy kingdom of Arendelle are spectacularly adapted for the stage in this dazzling musical, where all of your favourite characters and songs from the film come to life right before your eyes!

The story of two sisters who save each other is a modern classic and box-office sensation from the Walt Disney Company. Frozen the Musical at Theatre Royal Dury Lane adds some extra surprises, making it the perfect introduction to kids theatre in London for anyone who wants to experience the magic in a whole new way.

What is Frozen the Musical about?

Princess Anna and Princess Elsa are sisters whose close relationship is shattered when Elsa's magical powers cause mayhem. After their kingdom is thrown into a never-ending winter and Elsa is cast out, Anna is determined to undo the spell and bring her sister home. She is joined along the way by an array of friendly faces including cheery Olaf the Snowman, Sven the reindeer and Kristoff.

One of Disney’s biggest and best animated films of the 21st century has enjoyed its own Elsa-like transformation to become this dazzling musical. The show features songs from the Academy Award-winning film - including “Let It Go”, “Love Is an Open Door” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” - made all the more incredible by stunning set design, special effects and costumes that completely immerse audiences in the world of Arendelle and beyond.

Who plays Elsa in Frozen the Musical?

Jenna Lee-James currently stars as Elsa in Frozen's West End production, taking over the role from Samantha Barks until 7 February 2024. Lee-James' stage credits include Cats, Mamma Mia!, We Will Rock You and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Samantha Barks originated the role of Elsa when the musical opened in London, and was highly praised for bringing the powerful queen to life in a "powerhouse" (The Evening Standard) performance. The Guardian raved that "the stage comes alive every time she sings", and Lee-James' incredible vocals and stage presence mean children will be just as enchanted by her take on the role!

Frozen the Musical London Cast and Creatives

In addition to Jenna Lee-James as Elsa, the West End cast of Frozen features Laura Dawkes as Anna, Oliver Ormson as Hans, Jammy Kasongo as Kristogff, Richard Frame as the Duke of Weselton and Craig Gallivan (School of Rock the Musical) providing laughs and comedy as Olaf.

The show has music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Coco) and Robert Lopez (The Book of Mormon), who also worked on the film, and costumes & set design, bringing the bright and beautiful kingdom to life, by Christopher Oram.

Frozen Musical vs. Film

Frozen on stage is an unmissable experience even if you have watched the film a thousand times! There are plenty of brand-new moments to make the story burst off the stage with its own unique magic, whilst staying true to the spirit of the film.

The 2013 animated film had 7 original songs, including the show-stopper “‘Let it Go”. These all have pride of place in the show, and the original team behind the film’s music, award-winning husband and wife team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, created 12 extra songs for the Broadway musical.
