Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain part 3 Tickets

Neal Foster’s hugely successful Horrible Histories saga returns with a brand new, equally gruesome production Horrible Histories – Barmy Britain Part 3! Meet a whole range of grizzly characters who helped shape a very barmy Britain, including King John, Admiral Nelson and the Duke of Wellington. It is history with the nasty bits left in!

Prepare yourselves for the latest instalment in the much-loved family series Horrible Histories, which comes crashing into the West End’s Garrick Theatre for a particularly gruesome run. Following in the footsteps of the mega-successful Horrible Histories – Barmy Britain Parts 1 & 2, Birmingham Stage Company returns with an equally bawdy Barmy Britain Part 3!

Join the Horrible Histories team as they delve into another part of Britain’s history, with all of the nasty bits kept in! Meet the crazy characters and rude rulers from Britain’s barmy past, all of whom will give their take on past events. Will King John be a martyr when signing the Magna Carta? Will the Puritans provide the vest party? Will you be engulfed by the great fire of London? And what about the vile Victorians and fearsome First World War?

Including a special sketch with King John to celebrate the 800th year of signing the Magna Carta, Horrible Histories – Barmy Britain Part 3 is the saga directly from the pens of Terry Deary and Neal Foster. Deary has written countless Horrible Histories books, covering everything from British history to the Egyptians and more! Starring Neal Foster and Anthony Spargo, this production brings to life historical figures in a fun and educational way.

Directed by Neal Foster, who has helmed the previous Barmy Britains, Barmy Britain Part 3 features design by Jackie Trousdale, lighting design by Jason Taylor, sound design by Nick Sagar, music by Matthew Scott and choreography by Kenn Oldfield. A perfect treat for all the family, get your fill of horrible history at London’s Garrick Theatre, for a limited season only.
