About Jonathan Pie Heroes and Villains

BBC political correspondent Jonathan Pie has swapped College Green, Westminster, for the famous West End stage. Get ready to hear his unfiltered take on the UK’s heroes (nurses, Gary Linekar and 24-hour off licenses to name a few) followed by a withering, scorched earth and completely hilarious takedown of its biggest villains. From Tories to cyclists, you’ll be cringing and laughing in equal measure as Pie kicks the Establishment’s back door in and gives it the verbal dressing down of its life.

Following a hot UK tour, now is your chance to see Pie’s “superpowered performance” (Chortle) up close, as he launches into the mother of all diatribes against 21st-century politics.

    Who is Jonathan Pie?

Jonathan Pie is the comedy alter-ego of actor Tom Walker. The furious political correspondent has been giving his view on British, American and Australian affairs since 2015, and has covered everything from Brexit to Donald Trump’s presidential election. With five successful UK tours already under his belt, Heroes and Villains is the latest triumph that taps into the zeitgeist of British life with razor-sharp comic effect.

His satirical news reports have gained millions of views on YouTube, and he has even been asked to feature on The New York Times and his own spoof radio show, Call Jonathan Pie. From Boris Johnson to the energy crisis, Pie has an opinion on it all, and it definitely flouts impartiality rules!
