Best Seats Money Can Buy
Looking for an experience worthy of the Phantom himself? The best seats, money no object, are:

- Central Stalls, Rows C-H (up to £268). Close enough to see the sumptuous set details, but far back enough to take in the full drama of the story.
- Central Royal Circle, Rows A-B (up to £268). An incredible overhead view, both intimate and expansive. Ruthie1 (Royal Circle A23) loves that “during the “All I Ask Of You” reprise you get a wonderful view of the Phantom as he is almost at eye level with you.”
“If anyone was seeing this show for the first time, I might recommend somewhere in the Royal Circle, allowing you to see the panoramic kaleidoscope of the whole production! A newbie ought to be able to capture the whole epic scope of the show!” – Superfan peterc12
Also Consider: Stalls Rows A-B (up to £119) come highly recommended by superfan Peter, who says, “the breath-taking immersive experience of being so close to the performers and the story they are telling is quite unlike any other seating area.”
Best Cheap Seats
This musical might be full of drama, but your bank balance doesn’t need to be! The cheapest seats are often at the back of each section, and the best are:

- Side Royal Circle, Row B. Up to 64% cheaper than premium. Marked restricted view because they have a side view of the stage, they still feel close to the action. Seats like Royal Circle B5 are consistently well-reviewed by our users.
- Rear Stalls/Rear Royal Circle. Up to 69% cheaper than premium. Be aware of the overhang from the circle above, but these are well worth a look and don’t feel too distant. Always remember to compare reviews from our users before you decide!

Best Seats for Epic Phantom Moments
Phantom of the Opera is known for its melodrama and showstopper moments, and mega-Phan Peter has some excellent suggestions for enjoying the full effect:

- Boxes 2 and 4. These can be an “exciting, up-close view for a phan”, says Peter. Ali5ce in Stalls Box 2 concurred: “It feels like you’re on the stage and the actors will interact with you as ‘Box Viewers’ during the performance.”
- Central Stalls (approx. £131-£166). The infamous Phantom chandelier is a sight to behold from here – and may even make you gasp…
- Grand Circle Rows A-B (approx. £93). A “prime position for the iconic chandelier moments”! (AndrewH306, Grand Circle A18).

Seats to Avoid, According to Superfans
We asked Peter if there were any areas he’d avoid. Don’t forget, however, that one person’s nightmarish underground lair might be as sweet as an angel of music to you! Areas to be aware of include:

- Balcony. Steep and cramped, this isn’t the best choice if you have a fear of heights. The front row can offer good views of the chandelier, however.
“I found [the Balcony] very uncomfortable indeed and, of course, a long way from the action on stage.” – Superfan Peterc12
- Boxes 1 and 3. These boxes are much more restricted than their counterparts, 2 and 4.
- Stalls, under the Circle overhang (approx. £45-£51). Rows P-T are beneath the Royal Circle overhang, so some key moments are cut off. The price reflects this, and Peter does think that one particular row is actually a hidden gem…
Hidden Gems
These are seats that you might overlook at first, but we guarantee they’ll linger “inside your mind” for all the right reasons. Our superfans’ hidden gems are:

- Stalls Row P (approx. £45-£107). A wide price range depending on how far in advance (and what month) you book, but can be a real bargain thanks to extra legroom.
“Row P of the stalls is wonderful for those who love a little more legroom – I believe it is nicknamed ‘Business Class’ at the theatre due to the width.” – Superfan Peterc12
- Boxes 2 and 4. As already mentioned, these can offer some extra-special immersive moments, and the price can be a steal if you book closer to the performance date.
