Next to Normal Tickets

Wyndham's Theatre

The Pulitzer Prize-winning musical makes its long-awaited West End debut after wowing audiences at the Donmar Warehouse.

Next to Normal Tickets: A Moving 21st Century Musical

After wowing audiences during its long-awaited UK premiere at the Donmar Warehouse in Covent Garden, Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical Next to Normal transfers to the West End. This “impeccable, immaculate” (The Sunday Times) show about a mother living with bipolar disorder runs for a limited season at Wyndham’s Theatre.

What is Next to Normal about?

Diana Goodman is a wife and mother in suburban America, looking after her teenage kids and juggling a thousand things at once. She is also living with bipolar disorder, and haunted by the mistakes of her past.

This powerful and intimate story about a far-from-average family was first on Broadway in 2009, where it won three Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. With fizzing, rock-heavy songs from Tom Kitt, this is an engrossing 21st-century show that the New York Times dubbed a “feel-everything musical”.

A Long-awaited West End Premiere

This astonishing musical has been around for over a decade, but it took until 2023 to make its way to London! Under director Michael Longhurst (Caroline, or Change), its UK premiere was a sold-out success, with audiences gripped by its deeply human story of illness, family and perseverance. You now have a second chance to secure tickets as it transfers to the West End, and if you were a fan of fellow modern Broadway hits like Dear Evan Hansen, you will want to be in the audience.

Next to Normal West End Cast

The original Donmar Warehouse cast transfer to the West End, including Broadway star Caissie Levy (Frozen the Musical) as Diana Goodman and Jamie Parker (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as Dan Goodman.
